AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance Student-Athlete of the Week is USC Aiken softball standout Jessica Stanley for the week ending April 9, 2023.

Stanley, a native of Moncks Corner, S.C., led the Pacers to a 2-1 week.

She led the team with a .727 batting average, tallying eight hits in 11 at bats for the week. Stanley rattled off a team-best two doubles and had a team-high 10 total bases. Her three runs scored were second most on the squad.

Stanley slugged .909 on the week and sported a .769 on-base percentage. She also had one steal.

In the field, Stanley had two putouts and assisted on eight plays without an error.

She had two hits, including a double, in the series-opening victory over Augusta. In the second game of the series, Stanley rattled off a career-high four hits in four at bats while driving in one and scoring once. In the series finale she had two hits, including a double, while crossing home once.
