AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer standout Wynston Johnson has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 8, 2022.

Johnson, a native of Kannapolis, N.C., helped the Pacers to a win over Belmont Abbey.

In his lone match of the week, had his most productive contest of his career.

Johnson posted two assists and a goal for four points. He assisted on what turned out to be the match-winning goal 13 minutes into the match. He recorded another assist 11 minutes later, helping the team to a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Johnson scored his second goal of the season four minutes into the second half in the 3-0 victory.
