AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance Student-Athlete of the Week is USC Aiken golf standout Karl Frisk for the week ending May 14, 2023.

Frisk, a native of Spring Grove, Pa., led the squad at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional.

A sophomore, Frisk wrapped up the tournament with a 35^th-place finish.

He completed the event with a two-over par, 215. Frisk opened the tournament with a one-under par, 70. He shot 72 and 73 over the final two rounds of action.

Frisk’s low round of 70 was the second-best round at the tournament by a USC Aiken student-athlete.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
