AIKEN, S.C. - The University of South Carolina Aiken had many thrilling moments throughout the action-packed 2023-2024 season. Whether it was on the diamond, on the court, on the course, on the links or on the pitch, PacerSports.com is going to relive some of those unforgettable highlights that defines the Pacers' spirit a sport at a time.

Head coach Michael Holder's team most memorable moment of the season occurred by taking the PBC series at Augusta Apr. 12-14.

After dropping the series opener on Friday, Apr. 12, USC Aiken got going early on Saturday, Apr. 13. In the second contest of the series, Brock Myers scored on a passed ball before Jack Hobson belted a three-run homer to conclude a four-run first inning for the visitors.

Tied at 4-4 in the fifth, Myers scored again. A fielder's choice allowed Kaden Usry to cross home plate before Luke Parker scored to make it 7-4.

Leading 7-6, Hobson knocked in Usry in the seventh. Josh Sharp scored in the ninth on a sacrifice bunt by Parker. Base hits from Hobson and Doom Dennis pushed Usry and Hobson across home plate in the 11-7 victory. For the game, Hobson drove in six runs and scored twice on three hits while Usry scored four times. Hunter Steger worked three frames before Kevin Cox entered for a six-inning relief appearance, resulting in a six-strikeout victory.

Holder's team held Augusta's bats quiet on Sunday, giving up just four hits in the 6-0 victory. Hobson was back at it, driving in two on a pair of hits. Overall, Myers, Sharp, Capers Molinaroli, Hobson, Dalton Graves and Cannon Frost picked up two hits apiece.

Matt Garcia worked five strong innings with four strikeouts to pick up the victory. AJ Deibel worked two-thirds of an inning before Cole Evilsizor completed the shutout with a 3.1 inning save with four strikeouts.
