AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout August Lindvall has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 24, 2019.

Lindvall, a senior from Bastad, Sweden, guided the Pacers to an eighth-place finish at the Furman Intercollegiate.

He finished fifth in the 120-person field as USC Aiken was the lone Division II team in the 20-team field.

Lindvall finished the tournament two-under par. He shot scores of 76-68-67 for the three-day, 54-hole event. It is his second top-five finish of the season.

The Pacers close out the regular season Apr. 6-7 at the Augusta 3M Invitational.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
