AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Xzavier Barmore has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 13, 2019.

Barmore, a junior from Seneca, S.C., led the Pacers to a 1-1 week with a win at North Georgia.

He averaged a team-best 23.5 points per game while draining 17-of-31 from the floor. Barmore also connected on 46.7 percent of his three-point shots. For good measure, he accounted for 4.5 assists per game and 3.5 rebounds per outing.

Barmore hit eight-of-17 from the floor for 21 points at Francis Marion. He posted 26 points on a nine-of-14 effort from the floor in the victory against the Nighthawks. In the game, Barmore connected on six-of-nine from the three-point line.
