AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is softball standout Autumn Fisher.

A native of Inman, S.C., Fisher guided the Pacers to a 3-2 week, including a sweep of No. 20 Flagler.

In the doubleheader at Wingate, Fisher posted a hit in each game and scored a run in the opener.

On Friday against Flagler, she posted a hit and scored a run. In the victory over the Saints on Saturday, she accounted for three hits and scored a run. In the series finale victory over Flagler, Fisher registered two hits, including her first career grand slam, propelling the Pacers to the sweep.

For the week, Fisher led the team with a .471 batting average. She posted a team-high eight hits, scored four runs and drove in four. She slugged .706 and had a .471 on-base percentage.

In the field, Fisher was perfect, totaling seven putouts and 10 assists without an error.
