AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is women's soccer standout Brooke Morrison.

Morrison, a native of Madison, Ga., guided the Pacers to a 1-1 week.

Leading 1-0 at South Carolina State, Morrison took a pass from Carmen Jones and promptly rocketed a shot past the keeper for a two-score edge.

Early in the second half, Morrison controlled the ball after a scramble in the box and ripped a shot into the open net for a 3-0 lead.

It marked Morrison's fifth and sixth goals of the year as well as her second match-winning score. She concluded the season with a team-best six goals and team-high 12 points.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
