AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is women's basketball standout Serena Baker.

A native of Kettering, Ohio, the standout had a tremendous week.

Against Georgia Southwestern, Baker secured a career-high 22 points in 33 minutes of work. She buried eight-of-15 from the floor and six-of-seven from the charity stripe. Baker snagged nine boards and dished out two assists.

At Columbus State, Baker posted her first career double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. She drilled seven-of-15 from the floor, including a three-point bucket. Baker canned three-of-six from the charity stripe. For good measure, she had a steal.

For the week, Baker averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds while hitting 15-of-30 from the floor.
