AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Daniel Wiggins has been named the
Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 10, 2021.
Johansson, a sophomore from
Djuro, Sweden posted a top-10 finish at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional.
On the par-72, 7,139-yard course at the Streamsong Resort, Johansson jumped into the top 10 with a pair of solid rounds on Day 2 and Day 3.
After opening the event with a two-over par, 74, Johansson shot one-under par, 71 on Friday. During the final round of competition, Johansson shot an even-par, 72.
For the event, he finished one-over par, 217. Johansson was the top competitor for USC Aiken.
