AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken Men's Basketball standout
Latreavin Black has been named the
Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto- Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student- Athlete of the week for the week ending January 24, 2021.
Black, a junior forward from Shreveport, La., helped the Pacers to an undefeated week with wins against Francis Marion and Columbus State.
After starting off the week with 14 points, a team-best 13 rebounds and four assists in Wednesday's win over Francis Marion, he continued his great play with nine points and a team-high nine rebounds in Saturday's win over Columbus State. Black hit six-for-nine from the field against Francis Marion and three-of-six from the field Saturday against Columbus State.
He averaged 11 points and 11 rebounds for the week.
