AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball standout
Emily Trushel has been named the
Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto- Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 14, 2021.
Trushel, a 5-11 forward from Brentwood, Tenn., guided the Pacers to a 1-1 week.
In the win at Francis Marion, Trushel narrowly missed out on a double-double. She accounted for nine points and a team-best 10 rebounds. Tushel dished out five assists and added a steal.
Against No. 2 Lander, she garnered a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Trushel distributed four assists and added a steal.
For the week, she averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game.
