AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball standout
Latreavin Black has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto- Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 7, 2021.
Black, is a 6-5 junior forward from Shreveport, La.
In the loss to Flagler, Black pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds. It marked the second-most boards in a game by a men's basketball player since the school moved to Division II. He also scored 10 points for a double-double. For good measure, Black added three assists and two steals.
Against Georgia Southwestern, he tallied six points, five rebounds and a pair of assists.
For the season, Black is averaging 10.8 points and 9.9 rebounds a contest. The 9.9 rebounds a game are the second-most in the PBC and his 4.4 offensive rebounds a game top the league standings.
