AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA golf team finished third at the 29
th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team was paced by
Mitchell McNeill's two-under par, 208. He shot even-par 70 on the final round and tied for eighth.
Ian Williams snagged 13
th place after shooting even-par, 210. He accounted for a one-over par, 71, Friday.
Karl Frisk and
Hugo Boyer tied for 18
th place. The dyad shot two-over par, 212. Frisk finished the tournament by shooting one-under par, 69, Tuesday. Boyer shot one-over par, 271, on the final 18 holes of play.
Cameron Baez tied for 42
nd place. He shot nine-over par, 219, at the tournament. Baez recorded a score of four-over par, 74, Tuesday.
Campbell won the tournament at 10-under par, 830. UAB was second at eight-under par, 832. USCA shot one-under par, 839, for the third-place finish. Mercer (+8) and Virgina Tech (+10) rounded out the top five schools at the illustrious event.
