AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Faison Brock has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 23, 2018.

Brock, a junior from Raleigh, N.C., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week with wins at Clayton State and at Georgia College.

He poured in a game-high 23 points on seven-of-14 shooting to go along with nine rebounds, four assists and two steals in the win against the Lakers.

In the win over the Bobcats, Brock shared team-high honors with 21 points on seven-of-13 shooting from the floor, including a five-of-nine effort from downtown. He pulled down six rebounds and dished out an assist in 36 minutes of work.

For the week, Brock averaged 22 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest.
