AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken women’s basketball standout Kwajelin Farrar has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 2, 2018.

Farrar, a redshirt-sophomore from Grovetown, Ga., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week with wins over Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern.

She posted nine points and 10 rebounds in 21 minutes of work in the victory over Georgia College. Farrar poured in a career-high 32 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in the win over Georgia Southwestern.

Against the Hurricanes, she tied a school record by scoring 15 points in the fourth quarter.

For the week, Farrar averaged 20.5 points and 13 rebounds. She made 62.1 percent of her shots from the floor and registered her 17^th career double-double.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
