AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken softball standout Brianna Dow has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 10, 2022.

Dow, a native of Camden, S.C., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week with a sweep of Mars Hill.

She led the way with a team-best five hits in the doubleheader. Dow recorded an .833 batting average. She drove in three runs and scored four times.

Three of Dow's five hits went for extra bases. She crushed a home run and had a pair of doubles. For the week, Dow sported a 1.667 slugging percentage and had an .857 on-base percentage.

In the field, she had four assists and two putouts.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
