AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken baseball standout
Jackson Hannon has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 13, 2022.
Hannon, a junior from Lexington, S.C., led the Pacers to a 2-1 week.
The outfielder hit .462 for the week. He scored five runs, drove in six, registered a homerun and had two doubles.
Hannon posted an .846 slugging percentage and recorded two stolen bases for the week.
He had a season-high three RBI in the series-opening win over Florida Southern. Hannon scored a season-high three times in the middle game of the series.
Defensively, Hannon was perfect in the field with eight putouts.
The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
