AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA baseball team has announced its 2027 schedule, with head coach Keith Gorman and the Pacers set to play a 50-game regular-season slate before the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

"We're excited about our 2027 schedule," Gorman stated. "Our non-conference schedule will provide a great opportunity and challenge for our 2027 ball club. Our first four weekends will do exactly that. We'll open against West Alabama, one of the top programs in the country, followed by Ferrum, Francis Marion and Frostburg State. Francis Marion was a Top-20 team last year, and Frostburg State has been a consistent regional tournament team.

Our midweek games against Newberry, North Greenville and Young Harris will also give us some really good competition. North Greenville and Young Harris were both Top-20 teams last year, which continues to make this a very strong non-conference schedule. We believe playing this kind of schedule will challenge our guys, help prepare us for Peach Belt play and, hopefully, put us in a good position as we work toward our goal of a National Championship."

USCA will open the season at home on Jan. 29 when the Pacers welcome West Alabama to Roberto Hernandez Stadium for a three-game series. 

Gorman's squad will play their first nine games of the season at home, hosting Ferrum for a three-game series Feb. 5-7. The team will then welcome Francis Marion for a three-game set Feb. 12-13, including a doubleheader on Saturday.

After a road game at Southern Wesleyan on Feb. 17 and a three-game home series against Frostburg State Feb. 19-21, the Pacers will travel to Newberry on Feb. 24.

USCA will begin league play at home Feb. 26-28 against Middle Georgia. The Pacers will then head to Young Harris (March 3) before hosting Flagler March 5-7. The team hits the road to Columbus State for a three-game conference series March 12-14.

The schedule continues with a March 17 neutral-site match-up against Augusta at SRP Park in North Augusta before USCA travels to Georgia Southwestern for a three-game PBC series March 19-21.

The Pacers will return home March 23 for a non-conference game against Newberry before hosting USC Beaufort for a three-game conference series March 25-27. USCA will close out March with a home contest against North Greenville on March 30.

In April, Gorman's team heads to Claflin for a three-game series (Apr. 2-4) before hosting Lander Apr. 9-11. After making the trek to Augusta Apr. 16-18 to face the Jaguars, the team stays on the road for a battle at North Greenville on Apr. 21. 

USCA closes out the regular season with a three-game homestand against Georgia College (Apr. 23-25), a mid-week home game against Southern Wesleyan (Apr. 28) and a three-game road trip at North Georgia (Apr. 30-May 2). 

Following the regular season, the Peach Belt Conference Tournament begins May 7, with the quarterfinal round scheduled for May 7-9. The PBC Championship is set for May 13-16.
