AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball standout Kayla Duggan has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 4, 2018.

The sophomore guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week and the PBC regular-season championship.

Duggan, a native of Amelia Island, S.C., recorded a pair of double-double performances in victories over Augusta and Georgia College. She averaged 4.00 kills and 4.57 digs per set. Duggan also accounted for 4.9 points a frame.

In the sweep of Augusta, she registered 10 kills and 13 digs while serving up a pair of aces. Five of her kills and both aces came in the 25-16 first-set win.

In the victory over Georgia College, she accounted for a career-high 18 kills and five blocks while chipping in a season-best 19 digs.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
