AIKEN, S.C. – USCA softball standout Abbie Kegley has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery Student-Athlete of the Month for March.

A native of Quinton, Va., Kegley had a tremendous month for the Pacers.

She opened the month with her first career no-hitter in the victory over Wingate. She had 10 strikeouts in the win while throwing 112 pitches against the Bulldogs. Against Flagler, Kegley did not give up an earned run while striking out four. In her second appearance against the Saints, she tallied four strikeouts and gave up three earned runs in 7.1 innings.

Kegley gave up just two earned runs in eight innings of work against top-five North Georgia. In the win at Anderson, she had five strikeouts while giving up one earned run on four hits. Kegley also picked up a five-strikeout no-hitter in the victory over Georgia College & State University.

For the month, she tossed 60.2 innings and gave up just 13 earned runs. Kegley posted 46 strikeouts and allowed just six extra-base hits.

The South Carolina Education Lottery USCA Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month award honors one student-athlete each month from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort. Each month during the 2025-26 athletic year one winner will be chosen from an in-season sport.
