Box Score AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken trailed by 11 early in the second half but used a 26-6 run to take a nine point lead, but it was Lander University's 15-0 run that propelled the Bearcats to a 66-61 win tonight at "The Courthouse" in Aiken, S.C. The Pacers (6-16, 2-10 PBC) were led by Josh Poston's 15 points. Jarred Jackson scored a game-high 21 to lead Lander (15-8, 8-4 PBC).

Jackson's three-pointer made it 36-25 in favor of the visitors with 18:46 left in the game but Lander made just one-of-eight attempts from the field over the next eight minutes and USC Aiken used a 26-6 run to overcome the deficit.

Josh Geyer capped it off with a jumper with 10:57 left to play and put the Pacers in front 51-42. Eight turnovers over the next six minutes opened up the door for the Bearcats. Lander scored15 unanswered, including nine by Jackson and led by six, 61-55, with 5:04 to go.

USCA drew within one, 61-60, on Franchot Brown's dunk with 3:14 showing on the clock but the Pacer missed all four of its field goal attempts in the final two and a half minutes and Lander held on for the win.
Brown finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Geyer added 11 points. 

The Pacers will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to face USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
