AT CAPE FEAR: Josh Geyer played one season at Cape Fear Community College...He played in 24 games and made 13 starts while leading Cape Fear in scoring (16.3 ppg)...He also averaged 4.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game...Geyer connected on 49.8 percent of his field goal attempts, 44.9 percent of his three-point attempts and 75.8 percent of his shots from the free throw line...On Nov. 14, Geyer connected on 12 of his 15 shot attempts against St. John’s River finishing with 27 points...Against the University of North Carolina’s junior varsity team on Nov. 22, Geyer finished with 16 points...He scored a season high 31 points on Jan. 13, against Rockingham...After the season Geyer was named to the All-Carolinas Junior College Conference First Team and selected second team All-Region.

AT RIVERSIDE HIGH: Averaged 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal per game his senior year at Riverside High School in Durham, North Carolina... Suffered an injury and only played half of his senior season but was still named the team’s defensive player of the year...Graduated in 2003.
