AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken women’s tennis standout Nadine Tusiama has been named the Willie Jewell's USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 19, 2017.??

Tusiama, a native of Geneva, Switzerland, led the Pacers to a 1-0 week.
 
She helped the Pacers nearly sweep Limestone with an 8-1 victory. Tusiama was responsible for two of the eight victories.
 
In doubles action, she teamed up with Olivera Veskovac to dispatch their opponents by an 8-6 score. The duo played at the No. 1 spot.
 
Tusiama garnered a 6-4, 6-3 victory at the No. 1 singles position as well.
 
She improved to 3-1 in singles action and 3-1 in doubles action with the victories.  
 
The Willie Jewell’s USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
