AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men’s soccer standout Jordan Misiri has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2018.

The redshirt-senior guided the Pacers to a 1-0-1 week.

Misiri, a 5-8 midfielder from Concord, N.H., was spectacular in both contests for the Pacers.

In the non-conference contest against King, Misiri dished out a pair of assists in the 3-2 victory. He created the first two goals for USC Aiken also had a shot on goal.

In the double-overtime tie against Flagler, Misiri stepped up to the ball and promptly found the back of the net on a penalty kick in the first half, giving the Pacers a 1-0 edge.

USC Aiken is unbeaten this season when Misiri scores a point. He is currently one point shy of being on the career list for school’s career points scored chart.
