AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken softball standout Brooke Moore has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 4, 2022.

Moore, a native of Rutherfordton, N.C., hit .444 on the week. The shortstop went four-for-nine at the plate.

Moore registered three home runs and nine RBI on the week and scored three times. She tied the school record with seven RBI in the win over Georgia College. Moore entered the career record book and is in eighth place on the career home run list.

Three of her four hits on the week went for extra base hits. In the field, Moore had six putouts and five assists for the week.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
