AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken baseball standout Sean McQuillan has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 7, 2021.

McQuillan, a 6-0 outfielder from Cary, N.C., guided the Pacers to a victory over nationally-ranked Georgia College.

He posted a .364 batting average for the week. McQuillan led the team with five runs scored, four RBI, four walks and four hits.

He accounted for a .455 slugging percentage and a .563 on-base percentage. In the field, he was perfect with 12 putouts without an error.

In the victory over the Bobcats, McQuillan tallied two hits, had one RBI and scored two runs. He also swiped a base.
