AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Jalen McCoy.

McCoy, a native of Raleigh, N.C., led the Pacers to a 2-0 week.

In the win at Georgia Southwestern, McCoy erupted for 31 points on 14-of-20 shooting from the floor. He made three-of-five from the charity stripe and snagged 10 rebounds for a double-double.

In the home win over Columbus State, he accounted for 18 points and six boards. McCoy made seven-of-13 from the field and four-of-five from the foul line.

For the week, McCoy averaged 24.5 points per game and eight boards a contest. He made 21-of-33 from the field and seven-of-10 from the charity stripe.
