AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Jalen McCoy.

McCoy, a native of Raleigh, N.C., led the Pacers to a 1-1 week.

At Lander, he poured in 18 points on eight-of-12 shooting from the floor. He snagged seven rebounds and recorded a pair of steals.

At Georgia College & State, McCoy erupted for a career-high 35 points on 13-of-16 shooting from the floor. He drained one-of-two from downtown and made all eight charity attempts. McCoy dished out two assists in the victory.

For the week, he drained 21-of-28 from the floor and pulled down 7.5 rebounds a game.
