AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Demitrios Dixon.

Dixon, a native of Charlotte, N.C., led the Pacers to a 1-0 week.

In the victory over Francis Marion, Dixon established a career-high mark with 15 points on six-of-11 shooting from the floor. Additionally, he distributed a career-best and game-high seven assists in 23 minutes of action.

Dixon canned three-of-six shots from downtown. For good measure, he tied his season-best mark with two steals. Dixon snagged a pair of boards in the 99-66 win.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
