Thomas was a two-time NAIA all-District 6 selection. She was the school's career-scoring leader upon the completion of her career with 1,489 points. Thomas also holds the single-game scoring record with 41 points. The all-middle South region honoree was selected to play in the NAIA District 6 all-star game. In 1982 she was also a District 6 Player of the Week. Thomas was on the team from 1980-83.
