Gary Gilmore coached the USC Aiken baseball team from 1990-95, leading the team to a 256-102-2 record. During the program’s first season in Division II, he guided the team to a 45-18-2 record and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. In 1993, Gilmore was named the Division II ABCA National Coach of the Year as he led the Pacers to the World Series. He was also named the Peach Belt Conference and South Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. Gilmore started his career with four 40-win seasons and boasted a school-record 48 wins during the 1991 season. He coached one PBC Player of the Year, nine all-conference performers and two future Major League Baseball players at USC Aiken.
