When looking to pursue an undergraduate degree, young adults tend to look far and wide for the best place to earn their desired degree. Sometimes young adults will find a school thousands of miles away while other times they find the right fit in the same town.

Rookie Mimi Inman is a product of Aiken H.S. The 5-7 standout was familiar with USC Aiken during her time in high school as her older sister, Brooke, ran for head coach Kara Kinard for a season.

Inman has competed in two events during her first season with the team. At the Pacer Invitational last week, Inman was the second USC Aiken student-athlete to cross the finish line, earning a 12th-place finish.

Inman recently sat down to discuss her journey to USC Aiken and talk about her expectations for the season in the latest Innovative Solutions “A Closer Look.”
