It’s a career that will be remembered for a long time. School-record holder Andre Simmond has been outstanding during his time at USC Aiken.
As a freshman, the 5-11 midfielder from Manchester, N.H., guided the Pacers to unprecedented heights, including a school record for wins and a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. That year, he picked up all-conference accolades as well.
In 2015, Simmond once again garnered all-conference honors and picked up his first PBC Player of the Week award. Last year, he was an all-region selection while earning first-team all-league accolades.
In his three-plus seasons at USC Aiken, Simmond established the school record for assists and is among the top-10 point scorers in team history.
Simmond recently sat down with Amanda Giordano and discussed his career at length, in addition to how he arrived at USC Aiken.
