AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Johnson Holliday has been named the Willie Jewell’s USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 16, 2017.

Holliday, a redshirt-junior, guided the Pacers to their first Peach Belt Conference Championship since the 2014 season.

The Galivants Ferry, S.C., native was the silver medalist at the PBC Championship in St. Augustine, Fla.

Holliday was at or below par for all three rounds and finished with a two-under par, 214.

For the opening round, Holliday shot an even-par, 72. He followed it up with a two-under par, 70, for the second round. Holliday concluded the tournament with an even-par, 72.

Holliday will lead the Pacers into the upcoming NCAA Regional May 8-10 in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
