AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball standout Anyeuri Castillo has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 21, 2021.

Castillo, a senior forward from Norcross, Ga., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week.

In the win at Augusta, Castillo poured in a game-high 19 points while grabbing five rebounds. Against the Patriots, Castillo tallied 17 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. He also swatted away three shots for good measure.

For the week, Castillo averaged 18 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
