AIKEN, S.C. – Four USCA women's soccer standouts were recently named to the CSC academic all-district team.
Payton Bates,
Lexi Blasberg,
Shy Iles and
Samantha Koneval were all named to the team.
Bates, a, sophomore defender from McDonough, Ga., sports a 3.55 GPA in biology. She helped guide the team to seven shutouts on the season while playing in all 18 matches.
Blasberg, a senior forward from Lexington, Ohio, has a 3.53 GPA in emerging media. She played in 18 matches, earning 17 starts. Blasberg was second on the team with 11 points on five goals and an assist. She tied for the team lead with two match-winning goals.
Iles, a senior forward from Demossville, Ky., maintains a 4.0 GPA in emerging media. She started 17 matches and was third on the team with nine points. She accounted for four goals and an assist. Iles tied for the team lead with two match-winning scores.
Koneval, a sophomore midfielder/forward, carries a 3.77 GPA in biology. She played in 18 matches and scored a goal in the draw with Lander.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
