New location, but complete familiarity.
Greta Ohlwein's impact during her first year has been tremendous, but there's a sense of familiarity despite being at a new school.
Ohlwein, a transfer from Southern Indiana, leads the women's soccer team with 17 points on seven goals and five assists. She leads the squad in all three categories and is tied for the team lead with two match-winning scores.
In just 16 regular-season matches heading into Saturday's regular-season finale, Ohlwein has embraced the program, university and city. Despite being able to adapt to new things quickly – as it's needed on the pitch – Ohlwein had some familiarity with USCA prior to her arrival.
Ohlwein and
Shy Iles, a senior with the program, were teammates at Southern Indiana. When watching USCA compete, fans can tell the two have known each other for years due to how they feed off each other during matches.Â
Iles recently interviewed Ohlwein about how she arrived at USCA. Watch the video for the latest Innovative Solutions "A Closer Look."
