AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA standout Anna Sommer has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

The junior from Saint Louis, Mo., guided the Pacers to a 3-0 week.

She slammed home 37 kills while hitting .516 for the weekend to go along with six blocks.

In the win over Francis Marion, Sommer posted a career-high 17 kills while hitting .615 in the sweep. Against Carson-Newman, she notched 10 kills and hit .381. In the weekend finale, Sommer posted 10 kills, hit .533 and registered four blocks in the victory over North Greenville. 

Sommer helped the Pacers to a pair of sweeps and a four-set victory.

Sommer is second in the PBC in hitting percentage (.437), kills/set (3.25) and points (3.78/set) and 10^th for blocks (0.80/set).
