WINGATE, N.C. – USCA volleyball standout Anna Sommer has been named to the D2CCA all-Southeast Region Team.

Sommer, a senior from Saint Louis, Mo., garnered first-team all-PBC accolades.

She led the PBC with a .360 hitting percentage, totaling 300 kills on the season. Sommer also topped the league with 1.17 blocks per set. She accounted for 27 solo blocks and 104 assisted blocks. 

The middle blocker posted a season-high 18 kills in the win over Coker while notching a season-high 20 points against the Cobras. Sommer had 10 total blocks against Montevallo – all of which were assisted.

She had six matches with at least five total blocks on the year. Sommer posted 16 matches with at least 10 kills and has 12 matches where she's hit at least .400.  

After a win over UNC Pembroke and a pair of dynamic performances in the sweep of Middle Georgia State, Sommer garnered PBC Player of the Week accolades.
