AUGUSTA, Ga. – The USCA volleyball team has been selected third in the PBC Preseason Poll, which was released today.
The poll was voted on by each of the league's head coaches, who were not allowed to vote on their own team.

Glenn Cox's team garnered 10 points in the poll for third place. Augusta earned three first-place votes for 15 total points, which was good enough for first place. Lander picked up two first-place nods for 14 points, rendering the Bearcats second in the poll. Flagler tallied seven points for fourth place while Georgia College & State University was fifth with four points.

Emily Lammers was named to the Preseason All-Conference Team. The 2023 PBC All-Tournament Team honoree led USCA with 261 kills a season ago. She was second in kills/set (2.64) and aces (33). Lammers was third on the squad with 283 digs (2.86 digs/set).
USCA is coming off a 16-11 season that saw the squad earn the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional.
The Pacers open the 2024 campaign at the Coker Cobra Classic Sept. 6-7. USCA takes on the host Cobras Friday at 7 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at PacerSports.com.
