2024 Volleyball Schedule
AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head volleyball coach Glenn Cox, is pleased to announce the 2024 schedule.
"I am excited for our challenging conference and non-conference schedule this fall," Cox stated. "We will surely have the strength of schedule to put us in position to control our destiny in the NCAA Southeast Region rankings. I am counting down the days until our student-athletes return to campus to start our preparation for a great season!"
The Pacers, coming off an NCAA Tournament bid, open the campaign at Coker's tournament on Sept. 6. USC Aiken takes on the Cobras on Sept. 6 before squaring off against region foes Belmont Abbey and Wingate on Sept. 7.
Pacer Nation gets their first chance of seeing Cox's team at the USC Aiken Invitational Sept. 13-14. The Pacers host the Patriots of Francis Marion and the Eagles of Carson-Newman on Sept. 13 before entertaining North Greenville on Sept. 14.
USC Aiken hits the road the following weekend for Montevallo's tournament. There, the Pacers play Mississippi College and Alabama-Huntsville on Sept. 20 before wrapping up the weekend event with the host Falcons on Sept. 21.
Cox's team returns home for four consecutive home matches beginning Sept. 28 against Lander. The Jaguars of Augusta come to town on Oct. 1 and the Bobcats of Georgia College & State University arrive in the Convocation Center on Oct. 4. GCSU returns to Aiken, S.C., on Oct. 9 for a non-conference contest.
The Pacers hit the road for seven consecutive matches, beginning with a trip to Flagler on Oct. 12. The team plays at Augusta (Oct. 16), at Lander (Oct. 19) and at Francis Marion on Oct. 23. USC Aiken takes on Chowan in a neutral-site contest at FMU prior to the contest with the Patriots.
After playing at GCSU on Nov. 1 and Augusta on Nov. 2, Cox's team returns home for the regular-season finale against the Saints on Nov. 9.
The Pacers open postseason play the following week.
