AIKEN, S.C. – The
Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is softball standout
Mallory Shaver.
A native of Mint Hill, N.C., Shaver guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week.
In the victory over North Greenville, she posted a pair of hits in three at bats and drove in one. She accounted for two hits, including a double, while driving in three runs in the nightcap victory over the Crusaders.
For the week, Shaver hit .667 with four RBI. She tallied four hits, including a double, n the doubleheader sweep of NGU.
She was perfect in the field with 12 putouts without an error.
