Lammers Leads the Way
In USCA's lone match last week, senior
Emily Lammers led the Pacers to a victory in the PBC opener at Georgia College & State University. She accounted for a match-best 15 kills and served up a match-high four aces to go along with seven digs and a block.
Patterson Puts It Down
Junior
Tucker Patterson had a career night in the victory over the Bobcats. She reached double figures for kills with 12. She hit .218 and added a pair of digs. The last two matches Patterson's played in she's tallied 19 kills in 39 attempts.
Tabor's Total Match
Rookie
Tabor Scanlon put together a career night as well. She posted her first-ever double-double with a match-high 26 assists to go along with 11 digs. It marked the first time she's posted double digits in digs this year. Additionally, Scanlon sliced the defense for three aces. Over the last two matches, Scanlon's totaled eight aces.
Hogan's A Hero
Newcomer
Sidney Hogan had a solid match in the victory over GCSU. She distributed 21 assists, had five digs and served up an ace. It marked the fifth time she's posted at least 20 assists in a match this season. Her five digs tied her season high as well.
Three Over .300
Head coach
Glenn Cox's team had three student-athletes record a .300 attack percentage or better.
Anna Sommer led the way with a .391 effort while
Ana Cate Loftus recorded a .381 attack percentage.
Gyöngyvér Araczki hit .313 in the four-set win.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USCA hosts Georgia College & State in a non-conference affair on Wednesday, Oct. 9 before hosting Flagler on Thursday, Oct. 10. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 61-22 (73.5 percent) in Wednesday matches and 26-20 (56.5 percent) in Thursday contests. During the same time, the program is 5-2 on Oct. 9 and 7-7 on Oct. 10. Â Â
Against The Opponents
This week, USCA hosts Georgia College & State in a non-conference affair on Wednesday, Oct. 9 before playing at Flagler on Thursday, Oct. 10. The Pacers are 24-7 in the all-time series against the Bobcats. USCA trails the all-time series 27-13 to the Saints.
