SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's cross country team finished 14th at the Converse Invitational, which wrapped up Saturday morning.
Emory won the 8k race while Berry, Anderson, Belmont Abbey and Lincoln Memorial rounded out the top five in the 17-team field.
For the third consecutive time this season, junior
Julio Rojas led the Pacers. He notched a time of 28:24.3 for 70
th place.
Riley Campbell garnered 87
th place after crossing the line in 30:49.6.
Teammate
Julian Mendoza took 88
th after he completed the race in 31:14.1.
Elkana Kipchumba, competing in his first race of the season, was 93
rd. He posted a time of 33:58.5.
Julian Salas was 99
th after posting a mark of 36:16.4.
The Pacers return to action Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Akiah McMillan Invitational, which is hosted by Columbia College.
