MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The USCA men's cross country team placed eighth at the PBC Championship Saturday morning.
Head coach
Jim Sprecher's team was led by
Daniel Kiprono's school-record setting time in the 8k event at 25:48.1. He finished 14
th with the outstanding effort, which earned him all-conference accolades.
Jase Wilson took 42
nd after posting a time of 29:35.8. Newcomer
Avery Farthing was close behind Wilson, snagging 46
th place with a time of 30:06.0.
Andrew Towner was 47
th after posting a mark of 30:12.6.
Tyler Blowe garnered 53
rd place with a time of 31:07.6 while
David Tarantino was one spot back of Blowe for 54
th after crossing the line in 31:25.4.
Flagler won the meet with 19 points. Augusta (39 points) and Georgia College (93 points) rounded out the top three teams. USCA accounted for 201 points.
Tyler Blowe was name to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The Pacers return to action Saturday, Nov. 8 at the NCAA Regionals.
