NEW ORLEANS, La. – The USTFCCCA recently announced the men's cross country all-academic awards for the NCAA Division II season.
Standout
Daniel Kiprono garnered all-academic distinction from the organization. Student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
Kiprono, a native of Nandi Hills, Kenya, picked up all-conference honors at the PBC meet with a school-record time of 24:48.1 in the 8k. At the region meet, he took 58
th with a time of 34:12.09 in the 10k.
