AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA men's cross country standout Daniel Kiprono has been named the PBC Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Kiprono, a junior from Nandi Hills, Kenya, won the Peach Belt Conference Preview Friday evening. 

He posted an 8k time of 27:24.5 while averaging 5:30.8 per mile. His effort helped the Pacers place second at the meet.

The win marked the first of his career as well as the first individual race win for the men's cross country program since it was restarted in 2019.
