Last week, USC Aiken dropped a 4-0 road match at Newberry before falling to Lynn by a 3-0 score at home Friday evening.
Awards
Goalkeeper
Tyler Hughes picked up PBC Goalkeeper of the Week honors on Sept. 5 after registering a pair of second half point-blank saves in the season-opening draw at Belmont Abbey. It marked the first accolade for Hughes in his career.
Back On Track
USC Aiken has lost a pair of matches since a second-half furry at Belmont Abbey left the Pacers with a season-opening draw in the region match-up. The squad will look to get back on track this week as they host Flagler. Â
Getting An Opportunity

Ike Ofoje's team was fouled in the box, resulting in a penalty kick. USC Aiken had an opportunity, but the penalty kick was thwarted by Lynn. It marked the first penalty kick opportunity for the Pacers this season.Â
Opening League Play
USC Aiken begins PBC Play this week with a home match against Flagler. It marks the first of five consecutive PBC matches for the Pacers. The squad does not play another non-conference competition until an Oct. 7 Saturday evening showdown against Shaw.
