AIKEN, S.C. – Two USCA men's soccer standouts were recently named to the CSC academic all-district team.
Rafael Kawata and
Davis Scharfeld were named to the team.
Kawata, a junior midfielder from Taubate, Brazil, earned all-conference and all-tournament team honors. He led the team with 17 points on five goals and seven assists. Kawata had four matches with a goal and an assist.
Scharfeld, a redshirt-sophomore defender from Windermere, Fla., started 16 matches on the year. He scored a goal in the win at Erskine and helped the defense to three shutouts.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
